Macros are sets of code that has been predefined for a program to execute when invoked by the user. Macros are commonly found in the Microsoft Office sweet of applications. JAWS can however, through the use of scripts, create essentially a macro for another program. Have you ever had a long phrase or sentence you type out a lot? Want to have multiple E-mail signatures and need to activate them with a single keystroke? If you're using a highly developed application, macros might be an option. If not, make JAWS do a little more for you.
