Enhanced AIM Script


The following additions make it possible for the AIM emoticon hotkeys to function if graphical smileys are disabled. There is also the added functionality of having the emoticon spoken after pressing a hotkey.

Details

Version Coded/Tested: AIM 5.2 (build 3292)
Version Compatibility: Unknown, but as the scripts are simple, will most likely work on most other versions
JAWS Version: Coded/Tested with JAWS 6.0 (build 410). All called functions work 4.51 and up.
Hotkeys: CTRL+1 through CTRL+8 and CTRL+SHIFT+1 through CTRL+SHIFT+8.
Included Files: JKM File | View | Download
Assigns the keys to the proper scripts. Append under the [common keys] heading.
JSD File | View | Download
Contains documentation on the scripts/functions and makes keyboard help possible. Not necessary to run. Append to the end of the file.
JSS File | View | Download
Contains actual code. Append to the bottom of current JSS file in Script Manager. Be sure to compile the script so that it will take effect.
